Hi i got a call frm 8009647365 and it was my old amex a/c, which is unpaid , this is collection agency of amex .... m happy finally i resolved my debt.... WOW

I got a call from this number at 2 minutes past 8am today. The person on the other end I could hardly understand his accent was sooooo thick. How did they get my cell phone number as my American Express(that is who he said was calling for)was under a different last name and my cell phone number has been changed many times since account has been closed over 10 yrs ago.
This is the second call I have gotten in 2 days from someone calling regarding owing money. I owe no one.

They called, had my name correct, read an address that has NEVER been mine and when I stopped the person, they said they wanted me to confirm the date of birth and I said no, since you have it--you tell me what you have--he refused and I let him know--he was trying to find someone, so the burden of proof is on him and I hung up.
How they got my cell phone number is beyond me, but I know not to answer 800 numbers on this thing. Good grief.

Claims to be AmEx and I have an outstanding balance. I chopped up my AmEx card back in 1982 after paying them off. Can we say SCAM!

Numer of calls. Supposed to be American Express. No one on line and no answer on call back. Had an Amex card in 1958 but closed account. No balance due. No use of card in over 50 years. Obvious scam.

They call on my cell phone. I returned call from my cell phone and got an automated answer telling me to press 1 for former/ current customers or 2 for those like me who got the call I did. Every time I press 2 it says something like "Does not recognize as valid entry.

So I call from my home phone and press 2 when told and it says "Ext. 261404 is not in, please leave message." I left a nice message and it's been a couple days since there last call...but I still wait for the next one.

Called American Express Customer service they said this number was NOT linked to them. Getting called sometimes 3-4X a day with a voice recording saying to call back a number. It called me 19 times last week UGH!

Received call from 1-800-964-7365 stating they were from AMEX and then gave me anther # 1800-364-7365 which I called and it is a phone sex line asking me to call 1-800-454-5400. I reported this to AMEX and the Do Not Call Registry.

Keep getting several calls a day saying they are with American Express and to call them immediately and to use my phone no. as a refferance they call from 1-800-964-7365
