This is the conversation,

Me: Hi, you called me, and you had the wrong number erlier, and the message sounded important, so i didnt want the person getting the message to miss it.

Ann left a voicemail at my employers office indicating she had received my request for debt consolidation and could lower my rate to 1.5%. I've never sent a request for debt consolidation, don't need it.

Calling private cell phones. They have called my 14 year old twice and if they call one more time I will be seeking a lawyer. We and She do not own credit cards and have no debt because we do not own credit cards.

called our phone system and since it's automated, by the time it got to our receptionist, all I got was the name (Ann) and her phone #. It's a problem that unsolicitated phone calls can occur like this. I doubt they even know they called a bagel shop that does not have credit card debt.

So I called back "Debt Relief" at 800-977-2091 and to my amazement, they actually answered!

Here is how the conversation went:

DR: "Debt relief how may I help you"

ME: "I received a missed call from this number, how did you get my number?"

DR: "Do you know if you received a call from Anna or Rick?

Me: "I don't recall."

DR: "It was probably a mis-dial, let me check for you... what is your telephone number?"

ME: "My telephone number is 206-856-xxxx."

DR: "I don't see anything on your number, but I will add you to our no call lists anyhow. Have a great day"

Actually they were pretty friendly, we'll see if the calls from them stop.

Got a call today, telemarketing call that is, from Debt Relief 800-977-2091 saying that they can reduce my debt payments, yadda yadda yadda.

I would recommend against answering any phone calls from 800-977-2091

Well, they left this number 2x and told me that they could reduce my interest rate by 1.5 % which would reduce my monthly payments. I wish this was real, but i dont have any credit cards above 4.99 %, so i dont believe it is real. :(

Unsolicited call that left nothing other than an enthusiasticly stated phone number as a message.

number was 1 800 977 2091
Called and said they needed info to complete our request for debt consolidation and that we were approved. We had never applied for debt consolidation When we returned the call they would not transfer us to the one who originally called (Ann Jones) when we asked to talk to a supervisor we were transferred to a voice mail which did not state a name, but requested additional personal info. Also when asked the name of the company we were told Debt Relief.
