Called me and said they were Microsoft and my computer had some virus. Ask how he knew. Said it was a service I had signed up for. I ask him how that was possible I had no Internet. He mumbled something and hung up.

Do not have an account with the caller and have not requested any information from this caller. I am on the federal no call register and continue to receive either a no message call or an automated call stating that they are sorry that I missed their call. Then a hang up!

This is the "Shop Now Pay Plan" credit arm of Carol Wright Gifts and Dr. Leonard's in Monroe, Wisconsin. I sent them an email asking if I could pay my bill on line (they don't offer that option), and their response included this 800 number.

Since they're in a town so small that it has wall-to-wall carpeting, I can help but wonder if they're a part of the Seventh Avenue/Swiss Colony/Ginny's "family," which is also in Monroe.

caller id says 800 services. Automated messages saying to call 800-985-1624 for important information. Occurs couple of times a day.

This may not be a scam, but it called my grandparents and left a message that they had information. Well my grandpa called back and they asked a bunch of personal questions and claimed to be from a company that has mail catalogs from companies that sold meat and cheese to Carol Wright so we're not sure if they're a scam since they asked questions like address, age, birthday and things.
