This is Bush's fault. He passed a law that only lasted a few years. The law expired during Obama presidency.

Very rude, he kept saying I need to make a payment over the phone I kept telling him I made a payment online but he would not stop talking I had to hang up. He kept saying he was with Discover card I keep asking what my account number information he just kept wanting money
When I received a call from this number 6 weeks ago it was truly Discover, calling about a past-due credit card balance. They politely worked with me to rectify everything, which is now reflected in my new statement. It was a legitimate call. You can also reach Discover at 800-347-2683.
