They say they can lower your credit card interest rate and to hurry because this is for a limited time and this is my final call, but I have been receiving these calls for several months. The recording used to say to press two to be removed from their list but I have not heard that message for quite a while.

There was a pre-recorded message saying I could lower my interest rates on my credit card. I do not have a Visa or Mastercard credit card. It then directed me to press 1 to speak to a live person. I pressed 1 and a very rude person asked for my account number. I asked repeatedly what company was calling me and how they obtained my phone number. The very rude person kept stating that they were with "Member Services at Visa and Mastercard" and they needed my account number. When I challenged her again and told her to take my number off of their call list she hung up on me.

They call constantly, it is a recording that comes on saying they want to lower your credit bill. Then if you are interested you press a button, so when I press the button to ask them not to call anymore they come on and say Hello, and I say please stop calling and they hang up. Yet then they call again later on, I don't know the exact dates of the other calls, but they call all the time. It's not just my cell phone they call my home phone too. If you try to call the number back they pick up and hang up or you get a recording saying the voice mail of "fill in blank name" is full. They will never give you any info about who they are or work for. There are trying to get your identity info or credit info and if you don't give it to them then they hang up on you. It's a scam. The same people call from several different numbers, they have several numbers set up and switch between the numbers. If you look this number up online there are all kinds of reports about this number.

Stated that they were calling to reduce the interest rate on credit cards and to press the # 1 on my phone to proceed. I was then connected to a live operator. When I asked to be removed from their call list, the operator hung up. They have called several times a week for the past month; however they are not affiliated to any of my credit card companies.
