Call received 02/17/2012 at 7:12 PM from Rachael at Card Holder Services to lower interest rates on a card I do not have. The call came up on caller id as ATT 801-647-0293.
This is about the third or fourth call I have received from Rachael from Cardholder Services. I have filed a complaint in the past but can't remember the dates. There was an option to press one to speak with a representative, which I did not press. There was no option to be removed from their list this time. So I just hung up and dialed *57 to trace the call through my phone company. I pay for caller ID, I pay for an unlisted phone number and I have been on the National Do Not Call list since it's conception.

The message stated the call was to lower my existing credit card interest rate. The operator was phishing for my personal info.. This person has repeatedly called me attempting to steal my personal information.

They always tell me that they can lower my credit card interest rates, even though they would have no idea of what rate I am paying now. When asked if they reperesent a particular card, they say that they represent all credit cards.

A pre-recorded message asked if you wanted to reduce your credit card percentage rate. Says press 1 to talk to a representative, press 2 to be put on do not call list. After several attempts to push 2, they keep calling back but usually from a different number but the exact same pre-recorded message. I started to tell them personally not to call me but they would promptly hang up on me without confirmation of my wishes.
