credit card rate reduction

What I have started doing when I get one of these calls is to press '1' to speak to a live operator. Then, when someone comes on the line and asks if I'm "responding to the offer to lower my credit card interest rates" I scream at the top of my lungs right into the receiver and then hang up. Can't be a very pleasant experience on their end. I'm contemplating getting an air horn to save the wear and tear on my vocal chords.

my wife used to get calls like these. yes we have an air horn it is right here besides my phone. old days it was a whistle. nowadays air horns seem louder and better. it is amazing as too how soon your phone stops ringing unless it is family or friends. yes i love hitting 1 to get a live person soon as i hear a voice it is bammmmm here is an air horn for you LMAO. it feels good to have regained my phone back. Dollar stores carry them btw.

They were advertising some sort of credit card or related financial product. They didn't specify what bank/company it was from, or exactly what they were offering, but claimed they could "lower your interest rates."

Lowering interest rate on credit card account

Initially recorded message says they're calling with last offer to lower interest rate on credit card debt, but it is not our credit card company calling. Recording tells you to press 4 to speak with a representative. I have gotten these calls several times per week from this place and each time I tell them to take me off their call list, but they continue to call. Today I told them I was reporting them to the Do Not Call Registry.
