They were advertising a "free" security system that is not really free. I have ask them to place me on their do not call list, but they hang up and call back a few weeks later. They are calling me on a regular basis even though I have ask them to stop.

It's a phone call that is coming to our home. On the caller id it says ANSWER. The caller never leaves a message. I don't answer the phone when this number shows up.

This company offered to install an alarm system @ my home in exchange for placing a sign in my yard. This is at least the 4th time I have asked them to stop calling by redialing their # and pressing '1' when prompted to stop the calls. "Allow up to 24 hours to have your request processed" is the statement that comes at the end. Obviously this is not occuring. Once I got a live person and advised that I was on the DNC registry and did not want any calls from them. The female with whom I spoke stated "We are sorry and will remove you from our list, just say please"! At this point, I just hung up! These calls are getting more frequent as telemarketers know that the gov't is not doing anything to punish them for it.
