They announce that there has been a recent group of break-ins in the neighborhood and then probe for security in the home. It is a scam playing against the elderly living here. They try and scare the homeowner.
Call is the 'home security' scam autodialer. 'opting out' fails, they call back. staying on the line takes you to a live operator who hangs up on you if you ask who they are. Otherwise they want to hook you up with a local security company
