They are using numbers from all over the country. It is EXTREMELY annoying. My number is on the National Do Not Call Registry.

Called many times before and hung up when I answered. This time I called back and got a pitch from some Fireman's association, or something like that. When asked if I would be willing to help out this year, I said "not this year." There was no follow up, other than good bye. I called back and told them to put me on the "Do Not Call" list. He said "no," and hung up.
