This is former South Carolina Adjutant General Van McCarty asking you to join me in supporting 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗶𝗹𝘀𝗼𝗻 to be South Carolina's next Governor.
For more than 40 years I have dedicated my life to the service of my state and country. I had the distinct honor of rising from a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army to become South Carolina's 29th Adjutant General and the state's highest-ranking military officer.
A proud graduate of The Citadel, I served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom before leading the South Carolina National Guard through some of the state's most challenging moments, including Hurricane Dorian and Hurricane Helene.
Throughout my career I've met and served with many great men and women, one of those men was Attorney General Alan Wilson.
Alan Wilson is a man of distinct character with the moral fortitude and leadership necessary to lead our state forward. I'm asking my fellow veterans and South Carolinians to vote for Alan this Tuesday, June 9th. He is the right man at the right time to lead our state forward.
