Received a voice-mail, stating they were from IRS and there was legal action against me blah blah and to call back this number blah blahblah.

This number called both my cell and my husband's cell phone claiming to be the IRS.

As everyone else stated I also got this call and let it go to voice mail. The automated message was the same as everyone else's. I was under investigation and needed to return the call. I did not return this call as I knew it was a scam. I reported it to TIGFTA and the FTC. The best was at the very end it told me to have a great day!

Called my cell. I didn't answer. I'm glad, although it might be fun to punk these guys. Instead, I decided to look up the number and ended up here. So, if this number has been reported.....Why are the calls still happening?

I answered the call, It was recorded message from "IRS". I called back (from generic phone line) to listen to the scam and I had two options. Either go to jail and risk being deported or pay them 3 grand. I reported them to TIGTA instead. I find it hard to believe these people get away with this crap.

I also received a call with the same message as above. I have taken to not answering any call on my cell phone that I do not know. I always check the number later. This is a big time scam.

This is a FRAUD call. Not the IRS. They called my personal cell phone, but probably didn't know I'm an IRS Attorney here in Washington DC. The caller's people skills were so poor, hopefully everyone can immediately tell this is a fraud. I reported to our Inspector General's Office, TIGTA, at www.treasury.gov/tigta and click on the IRS Impersonation Scam Reporting.

I received this same call on my company phone today. I have reported it to Homeland Security for malicious activities. 803 780 1927

Do not answer phone calls of phone numbers you don't recognize! DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER!

Yes I just got a call today. Same details as above. Basically said I had 2 options, that if I didnt pay the $3000 today I would have to go to court to fix it. And once the line was disconnected he would transfer my file to the local police dept and they would come arrest me.

I received a call as from the number as well. I tried to return the call and it rang then went to a buys signal.

Called me and left me a message saying I'm under investigation for fraud. The message was a badly programmed automatic message.
