yet another 800 number threatening that a grace period before legal action is pursued is going to "get expired". Any robotic recorded audio with phrasing that sounds like it comes from an intermediate English learner is likely a scam.

Caller ID says Aiken, SC. Robot voice says IRS is going to put me in jail unless I call them to mitigate the situation. Instructed to call them at this number.
