If you try to speak, you will realize it's a recording. They have called me twice. Exactly the same words. The number in fact says it's from Virginia. The fact that it's a recording, an officer of the law, and does not specifically ask for you by name.... should be a red flag.

They did this to me too. Caller said his name was Officer Paul Turner and it would be in my best regards to call them back and actually gave me the number to his so-called department. Then he said if he does not hear from me or my attorney either then the only thing that he can do is wish me good luck as the situation unfolds on me... Also at the beginning of the message it sounded like he said something about it being time sensitive. I have never been to Virginia but that is where the call came from or so it says therefore I knew it was bogus

Called and...didn't answer....called back and got a non working #.....glad I checked here ...THOUGHT # WAS FAMILIER .....happens about every 2 months....!!

This number called my mother and she was very confused. Consulted me & I googled this number. Glad to have other people leaving complaints! They also threatened my mother.

just received this call. "If he doesn't here back from me or my attorney good luck as the situation unfolds upon you ." really they really believe we are going to fall for this

Officer Paul Turner left a message barely in English with a threatening message that he feels sorry for me if I didn't return his call. Yeah ok Mr IRS investigator Bwahahaha. Why wouldn't IRS mail me a letter vs an automated machine.

Me too - some one name ray morgan gave a fake id number and claimed he was calling about a irs criminal investigation, but yet I wasn't able to reach him back or got disconnected.

Middle-eastern accent, male.
They left a message but the beginning was cut off (because the automated message started playing before my voicemail message finished).
All I heard was that if I didn't call him back, I would have to "deal with the situation as it unfolds".
