Message on answering machine: this is the legal department from the internal revenue service, you have a fraud case pending. You need to go to the courthouse and then call us at this number immediately.
I of course didn't call, I did a search for the number. I know the IRS is not going to call me.

Scam. They said they were going to have me and my wife arrest in 30 minutes. Still waiting

Got several calls from "Unknown" number but this time they left a message and this number. Said we had a tax fraud against us. So now I see it's a fraud. Call is from out of the country for sure. Scary........

Received the same call. Scam. IRS says that they will not call like this - if there was an issue, they wouldn't call but would send an official letter.

Scam. Call from Mike Rogers saying he was from IRS and I was to call back regarding a federal case against me. I called back and when I identified that I worked for the IRS they hung up on me. I called back three times and the last time the man was vulgar since I called them out on their lies.
