They stated they were from the is bullshit scam
Caller: Fake it's call
They will tell you they are with the IRS criminal investegation department and expect you to immediately call back. They say if you or your lawyer don't immediately call back, you are liable for any legal action. Then as soon as you call back, the office will be closed. Which begs the question, how is a robot sending you calls if its office is closed?
The IRS will actually send you several letters before resorting to a call. And they don't threaten you.
