First off, these calls are coming in at an hour reserved for emergencies only which this clearly is not. What I believe happened to me was that the previous night, my book club ladies and I were reading something online and one could request a "free" sample. My best friend (w/ my permission) started filling out the fields but we quickly closed the page when they wanted a credit card number. So, even w/o submitting anything, they still got my information (which my name and number while on the Do Not Call Registry, are otherwise publicly searchable or whatever) but this serves as a good reminder to be very careful w/ our personal information, as we didn't even submit anything yet they still captured the number and possibly an email address which will surely route directly to SPAM anyway. Seriously though, calling at 4:52 a.m.?! That takes this to a new level of inconsideration so don't hesitate to add these jerks to your block list immediately!
