What is a "Government Scam" Robocall?

Scammers who call people posing as a government agency are commonly referred to as "government scams". There are many different agencies these callers pose as, but they most commonly pose as the IRS. They say you have not paid your taxes and are wanted by the government. These calls can be very convincing, as they will usually have your name and home address, but they will request your social security number and sometimes even your bank information. There are other government agencies these scammers pose as, such as your local police department, the Social Security Administration, and Medicare. When people pose as government agencies, they are violating the law and should be reported immediately. If you are unsure if you are truly talking to a legitimate government agency or not, you can hang up the call, and call the real agency. Let them know you received a call asking for your information, and you want to be sure it wasn’t a scam call. The agency will be able to tell you if you are actually in trouble with them or not.

I keep getting the same call everyday with different numbers that the say there a insurance company say there a issue with my car insurance and they threat to revoke my driver license they they threatened to call the police on me and have me a arrest as a stolen vehicle this is a scammer that wants me to give out my info and I refused too they are even under do not call list.

Didn't answer this call. called twice at 9:25 then 9:39 PM Sept.22 2020. whats weird is the number on my phone changed to 860-529-2609. this leads to believe it was a spoofed name and number. Steve Kanjenic. This happened after calling a unanswered number on craigslist, one for a vehicle, post id: 7198375436 and one for a fridge, post id: 7199573840

My account has been compromised by a person I know and this person is remotely using my device I just got this device about 3 weeks ago and I have noticed of 2017 this person has been compromising every device and I need to stop with changing
