I just get call too,scam,scam!

A bizarre voice (overly enthusiastic and fast) "just wanted to know if he could "put me down for $35, $50 or $100 to ensure that police officers have equipment to make their jobs." Zero was not an option ;-) When I mentioned that he called a nonprofit organization, not a residence, he paused for a couple of seconds and hung up. I would think that the police gets what they need to make their job safe, they are not asking citizens to finance their bulletproof vests. Geez!
