I received a phone call from this number. They claimed to be calling from a 'Safety Company' and were 'conducting a survey'. Question #1 was whether or not we had fire detectors in our house. I asked him who he was, and why he was calling. He started to get agitated which was a giveaway that he was not a professional. When I told him that I was not interested in participating he told me to "go to hell".

Definitely not a legitimate company - beware of whatever information they are trying to glean.

This number has been calling me as well. I have never answered it since I don't know the number and anyone I am acquainted with in the 813 area code is a saved contact on my phone already. I am on the national "do not call" registry and so this tells me that this person may just be running a scam and not a member of an official company or business.

They were calling as a "survey" and knew my name and wanted to ask questions about smoke alarms- when I asked what company this was - the man got angry and told me it was a company that wanted to "fuck me" and then hung up

This caller said he was "Vincent" with the "local" alarm company.

Local, what a joke.

His originating telephone number is 200+ miles away.

I simply hung up on him.
