Someone from this number called threatening a lawsuit because of an alleged Pay Day Loan I was supposed to have taken out in 12/2009. The individual threatened me with arrest and various other legal actions that are illegal in the state of California. I never took out a loan on-line and they were very vague as to the details of the "lawsuit". The guy spoke with a Pakistani/Indian accent but had a Western name! (Scott McCarlson) They were reluctant to give me any information on where they were located so I could resolve the matter. I haven't heard or received any documentation yet from them. The company he claims to be affiliated with is ACS, Affidavit Consolidated Service. His position there was an Affidavit Person! What a joke! There are a number of complaints against them in the Florida area and the number they call from shows as 000000000 in your caller id.
If you receive a call just ask very detailed questions and they will just hang up! Don't buy into their threats or claims! The F.D.C.P.A. is very specific on how to handle past due accounts and they did not follow any of them!
