Ms. TR
This is a bogus firm. Received a call last November, 2018, from phone #(814) 351-0205. Someone who stated to be John Alt used a commanding/intimidating tone implying that I would be interfering with the law if I did not cooperate with them. This bogus firm contacted me on the premise that I had supposedly cosigned papers for some kind of loan that a family member had taken. I contacted the family member, who double-checked his credit report. Everything was normal, no outstanding debt of any type. Next step, I blocked the number, yet this bogus firm tried it best by insisting via robotic calls to continue with its scam and leaving intimidating messages about serving papers and taking me to court. I hope this information is helpful to whoever is going through the same harassment.
They called yesterday and were very nice but stated that they were going to be serving me papers within the next 48 hours on my Barclay card. I have never missed a payment on this card and they didn't get the amount owed correct. Guys name was Chris Ryback and that I was supposed to email the documentation to kirklandlewis.associates@gmail.com. I don't think so!
Called stating had received order with my old maiden name on it and was going to summons and to contact before getting served. I researched this company and the phone number and red flags nothing but scammers.will not be calling them nor giving them any information. Waiting to see this Summons
Received a call from a Donald Wells of "Priority Legal Services" who has legal documents with my name and social security number. That I am currently set to be named as a defendant in a civil suit. The number of 814-351-0205 and ext 455 was provided.
Called about a credit card account from back in 2001. Way out of Statue of Limitations. Like 10 years over the SOL. This is a company that buys up old debt in bulk and tries to threaten to sue you if you don't "Settle Immediately". DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR ADMIT TO ANY DEBT! They will try and restart the SOL timeline with that information. GIVE THEM NOTHING. And hang up.
