They were looking for the person who last had my number. They didn't identify what debt collection company they were from, but did give the usual notice at the beginning of the call. I told them I don't know (name of person who last had this number) and they agreed to remove this number from their system. (I know many collection agencies say that but never do, so I'm blocking them.)
