Rec'd a very poor quality robocall recording over my landline this afternoon from IRS scammers, with now familiar message that I had 4 charges against me and that I had only 24 hrs. to contact them before local police "Cops" could be coming to arrest me.
Again, I'm not concerned as I'm still home after the previous calls and have NOT YET been contacted by law enforcement! Real IRS doesn't work like this and local police wouldn't be involved. It is a federal crime to evade income taxes, and the FBI or other federal authority would be dealing with it.
