Over 25 calls from this number on my caller id in the last 10 days, all are hang ups and no one there. At this point I don't care if this is from Sh-tybank or the Pope, this is beyond harassment. If any "normal" individual called one person this many times and did this they'd be in court for making prank phone calls. I wonder what would happen if we all reported this to our phone companies, police departments, etc? I wonder also if we could take out restraining orders for these harassing phone calls?

For the past week, I have been called at least 10-15 times a day from this number. No messages are left on my answering machine and even when I answer the phone they either ask if I'm me then hang up or just plain hang up.
I know these are classified as harrassing phone calls and want to report them but how do I get them to stop since they won't talk to me and only hang up on me?

They called me 3 or 4 times a day for 2 weeks. I answered it and they asked my name, last name, and social security number. They claimed I had an overdue CitiBank account and would keep calling me until I gave them that info.I called CitiBank and they assured me they are no way connected with this number as all their numbers are 888 or 866 numbers and apologized for the inconvenience.
