Lower Rates on Supplemental Medicare Insurance:
Call from ASB 817-806-4831. Woman identified herself as calling from (I think) American Supplemental Benefits (?). She immediately asked a question about my Medicare supplemental insurance. Told her I couldn't identify her as being from my insurance company so wouldn't give her any personal information. She said she was not my company but that because of so many complaints of rate increases, about 30 provider companies had joined to investigate the rate increases and that she wasn't selling anything. She again started asking personal questions about my "rate". She mentioned "because of so many complaints about rate imcreases" several times. When I told her to remove my number from her calling list, she said she would but gruffly told me she would have to make a notation that I had been called and had declined the information.
