CID said STS. I never answer any of these junk calls so I don't know what it was in regards to but I have had other numbers that come back to the Windows Tech scam. I'll just assume this was another scam call like 95% of the others received on my landline phone.

I just got the same call from this number from someone claiming to be "Adam" from "Windows Tech Pro" claiming my "Windows computer was not receiving updates." He also had a thick Indian accent. I told him he was part of a criminal enterprise and that I will report him to the police. He asked for my name and I refused. I understand this is a way that phishers get malware on naive computer users.

The called tried announcing himself from Windows Tech Support. With a very heavy and distinct Indian accent, he said his name was Jack Williams and that he was calling from Las Vegas, even though the area code for that number is not from Las Vegas. I had some fun asking him questions and trying to fool him and I finally told him that I would forwarding the number to the FBI. :)
