Yes they called me and I told the lady who answered that it was an scam and I am also planning to report to the treasury department 1800 366 4484
The person who answered had a heavy accent,I hope they can catch them

Same thing just happened. Hubby stated he called the police and treasury Dept. They hung up on him. Now the line is busy! Dumb a!

Cakker 828-474-2202 Kenneth White that I risk having a judgment brought against me. December 9, 2015 called at 4:30 and left a voicemail. I am so tired of these scam callers. How do you block these numbers?

Big Scam. IRS or any other federal government entity will not contact you by phone. If there was something wrong, they will write you a letter. Do not fall for this scam. I just wish that this could be traced and arrest are made. I feel sorry for people with less commons sense that would give in to these crooks.

Just received this call at about 10:00 A.M. EST on 12-09-15.
The (rather dumb) male voice claimed we owed Federal tax and the dumbo can help us out! Yeah, like really! DO NOT FA:LL FOR THIS! Some of these callers are from an offshore area, where they are in cahoots with the local phone company and you get billed a hefty amount just for the phone call! HANG UP IMMEDIATELY and block the number, if you can.

I'm in big trouble, IRS and FBI will be at my door within minutes if i don't pay back taxes from 2011. This guy Robert Grey will notify the IRS and let they know that he can help me if i run to the bank now and send a money Gram? These thugs must of just started this process, you get a sense that their reading a script and often could not pronounce certain words. However in this scan it's all in the number and someone will get scammed for the holiday season.

Yes he threatened judgment for ignoring the call and needs to be reported to the police and authorities should pick him up. I'm calling the 311 line now have a great day with out scammers. Virginia in Virginia

Anonymous Dec 8, 2015 10 am Scam: gave a name, but unclear, asked to cooperate so he could help me with a problem with treasury legal case. On caller ID he repeated his message three times. Gruff low frequency voice!! Pure scam,how do they get numbers for older people??

Called claiming to be named Dennis gray which doesn't sound accurate. Claim to be from treasury department. Not actually asking for anyone in particular.
