I get a call on my business phone with a pre-recorded message about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. Usually I just hang up but this time I wanted to see who they were. The caller ID was from the Burbank, CA area (818) 531-1584. I am in Ohio. The rep came on the line and wanted to know if I was interested in their offer to lower my credit card interest. I said, "What is the name of your company?" She replied, "What is the name of your company?" I said, "You called me, I didn't call you." She said, sarcastically, "Well, if we called you, we had a question so you should answer my question before I answer yours." I said, "What is your phone number?" She said, "800 CHOKE A HO." I hung up. This is typical of the kind of calls that I get. As soon as you don't do exactly what they say, you get disrespected. I know you probably cannot do anything about it, but I am getting tired of being harassed. I tried calling them back but it said their voice mailbox was full and cannot accept more messages. Imagine that.
