Screen shows DIR ASST CA. When I answered the phone, they hung up.
Clearly this is a SCAM to determine if my phone number is a valid number.

Female sked my first name. I asked if they were directory assistance. They said "oh I'm sorry" and hung up.

Yeah...saw the number and name and became immediately suspicious, but for a change I picked up. As soon as I said "Hello," and didn't get an immediate response, I hung up and blocked the number.
