Caller ID is USA System and it's a guy with heavy indian accent saying my computer is infected with malware and viruses. Odd thing is my Google Chrome app started having a strange issue two days prior with the += key repeating non-stop in search bar. I received a call on day two of this odd Chrome behavior and it made me wonder if it was related. So I played along for a while and they ask you run eventvwr and see what's going on. That's where I let them know I'm on to him and tell him to get a real job that he and his family can actually be proud of. He got mad and told me to get a glass of water and dump it on my laptop keyboard to fix the problem. I laughed, called him and A-hole and hung up. :)

Yep he called,,,so I scream "oh my god..someone is trying to break into my computer. I then say they came through a window....I thank him so very much and want to commend him to his manager,,,he tells me he is the manager. I say let me speak to his boss..finally he hangs up on me. True conversation I had.

Tired of the same old...

The same old, same old scam I have been getting calls about for the past 9 years (at least). An Indian dude who starts out politely stating that his name is Jeff and he is calling from Windows computer service center. I play games with these asshats - I tell them all my windows are brand new and I just had them installed. He tells me he can see that there is a virus - I pretend we are talking about household windows. I tell them I had Home Depot Install them and for them to call home depot if they see a problem. He will then tell me he is referring to my Windows program on my computer. I tell him I have No Computer and he gets upset about that, I put him on hold by putting the phone down for however long I need to and just walk away. He calls me every name under the sun, but I know I am preventing him from being able to hang up his call to pick up the next robo-call he has in que. Which makes it that much longer before he can hit up someone that is not familiar with this scam. This crap is pathetic and should be able to be stopped.
