Thank you for the explanation. Although your vehicle is an excellent deal, I would prefer not to do business that are not local and also, because it came from the mid-west, the vehicle may have signs of corrosion and extra wear and tear than a vehicle that was only in the Pacific North West.

I will briefly describe the transaction steps so I can make things clearer for both of us.The total price which you will have to pay for the car is $3.000. At the moment I'm stationed in Alaska making final preparations before deploying to Afghanistan with the U.S. Convoy.The car is already at our Military Logistic Department in Fort Dearborn in Chicago IL crated and ready to go. The Logistic Department will deliver the car to your home. The shipping is free for you as you may know we can ship a car/bike/etc from home to the base and back one time in a year for free.... Since the car is in a military base, with no access you can not go there and take it, only the Logistic Department can deliver it, because the car is in their custody. Shipping may take anywhere between 2 max 3 days depending on the destination. All documents you need for ownership, manuals, title and bill of sale will be provided along with the car. For the payment I would like to use Amazon as a third party. They will keep your money into a protection account until you get the car and will release it to me after inspection period is over and you agree to keep the car and to eliminate any concerns you will have 5 days to inspect the car. If you decide not to keep it Amazon will refund you the money, no questions asked, and shipping back will be my concern. I think this is more than fair for both of us. Yep, me too. As they say...If it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't. I got the same rep address in OK but the name Arthur Dixon. I spoke with him as my dumb ass was at Walmart. The money gram says right on it DO NOT SEDN MONEY FOR CARS someone may be trying to steal it. When I got suspicious and called Mr. Dixon, he simple said just send the money. That is when I knew it was a scam.

I responded to a craiglist add for the 2009 Ford Edge for 2,700. I received a text from 773-492-4623 from Major Tina McCurry. All the same information from the already posted complaints. So, so sad someone would use a very honorable military name to pull a scam. Can anyone shut these people down! The email was from tinamccurry1068@gmail.com and had the link for pictures at http://imgur.com/a/dmrZd. And the Amazon Invoice had the instructions to go to a WalMart and use MoneyGram to send the $$ to a Amazon Representative name : Josh Bass, 323 Seger St., Colony, OK, 73021.
So sad.
