Go to the FCC website and file a consumer complaint. Thats what I did. As soon as I asked some woman who they are, she hung up on me. Looks very shady to me. Do not give any info out to strangers on the phone. The first question she asked me was my name, not so bad, but when I asked what company they are or represent, click....not good.
A reputable company would be able to answer that in the bat of an eyelash.
Cheap, and predatory tactics, likely using low-paid help who doesn't know better or care for that matter.
Whatever happened to fines for Do not call infringements? Was that just political hot air?

Posting this every where I can... Advise everyone who has a smart phone to look for similar apps:

Called and did not leave a message. Got an app that will not only reveal blocked calls, but will block the number/name of the villain's calls. Tired of these fishers of men. I love smart phones.

Just do a search in your app store for blocking calls/reveal blocked calls. Incoming sales/soliciting calls have dropped for me by a HUGE margin!

They called me today about some sort of mortgage deal. It's a recorded message and they refuse to identify themselves in the robocall for obvious reasons. Any company that does spam-calls without an actual identity is asking for trouble because I will report them to the Donotcall registry given that I have been on the do not call list for quite sometime. It angers me because I am bombarded with these types of calls daily to my cell phone. Even when they tell you to press a particular number to stop the call, there is never a confirmation of any kind that you are off their calling list when you should never have been on their calling list to begin with. Not only do they use up my cell phone minutes with these dumb calls, they waste my precious time, clog my voicemail and since my phone number has been sold to third parties without my permission by my cell phone company, I just feel royally harrassed. It's up to everyone here on this list who has been extremely careful about giving out their cell phone number to report these calls so that the government does something about
unethical advertising. Nobody should be ignoring this because this is how they got your number to begin with. Be verbal about the harrassment and report them.

Mortgage refinance

iam on the do not call list, and I don't want any call from there numbers, they stated that Obama just pass some bill, then I hung up

I am on a do not call list and what good is it when these people keep calling. i don't answer numbers I don't get a valid caller id on. They let it go to answering machine and then didn't leave a message.

Called today and of course did not leave a message. Scum..

They keep calling my cell phone and don't give you an option to be taken off the list.

They are praying on poor people having a hard time with mortgage payments, we don't have any problems making payments so I found it odd. When I asked the name of the company she said Realtor mortgage repair or something similar (she said it too fast to write it down) and then when I asked how she got my number she just hung up.
