my phone number is on the "do not call list" but they called using a robo-call. I want to make sure they can't do that any more

It was a robo-call for a mortgage restructuring offer. The recording blabbed on and on about federal restructuring, President Obama, your mortgage company blah, blah, blah. When it said press 1 to speak to a specialist or press 2 to be removed from the list, I pressed 1. A woman came on the line, identified herself as Jean and asked for my name. I asked her "What number did you dial to call me?" and she hung up.

We are on the Do Not Call List, for what it's worth. Not much, apparently.

This is one of many numbers assigned to a Boiler Room operation making "survey calls". Their surveys include mostly political leanings.
