A lady called me at work saying she was giving me a courtesy call that she was going to notify my HR department and have me arrested if I didn't settle my debt outside of court. She was claiming I owed on a payday loan from 2011. She said if I didn't pay via wire transfer I would be arrested and thrown in jail for felony fraud charges and I would lose my job. I called my friend who works at the local courthouse, she assured me it was a scam . And then I saw all these posts which confirmed it. How are they allowed to do this to people?!
