Called me looking for my sister. Told me someone has filed a complaint against her and they would give me a number to call with a file #, and something about serving her some kind of papers. After 2-3 unsuccessful attempts, they would proceed in a court of law, with our without her. I asked who filled this "complaint", & she told me that is personal information..... But everything she has ALREADY told me was personal!!! Advised her my sister can not be reached at this # because she is locked up in Federal Prison. She sd she would note that, but when i told her to remove my #,she got smart with me and told me she didn't have to. She hung up. Not even 1 minute later another girl calls & asks for my sister AGAIN! She refused to give her name or where she was calling from & hung up

They have called my sister as well and I told her the same thing its a SCAM! I got the name Megan Thompson a very common name. Oh I'm curious about your file number mine was TF793. Usually we all get the same numbers as well. I am so sick of these calls. My husband said he is going to answer the phone next time and say he was very hungry had no food in Our house and he ate me. I'd love to heat their response after that.

I just has this same thing happen to me from the number of (828) 393-8815 but when I asked the name of who she was looking for it wasn't me then she said she must have the wrong number and told me to discard everything she said then hung up.

This number called my sister and told her they were going to serve me with a legal complaint and asked that I call 1-844-899-4849 with a claim number. They claimed that she was listed as my emergency contact. She never has been either. She called me immedialty and I told her it had to be a scam. I couldn't find info on the 844 number but she sent me the number they called from and it came from Hendersonville NC.

I believe this to be a scam. Claimed the had papers to serve me because I was being sued in a lawsuit. Told me I must call 844-899-4849 & gave me a claim # as well. She said if I did not call to be served the paperwork, a judgement against me would be made after 2 attempts. I asked for the state of which the claim was in & she said she could not open the sealed envelope! Ha! Whatever, I hung up.
