Just noticed I missed this call today while out doing chores. Googled it since I didn't recognize it. Glad I missed it from the looks of the other responses/replies.
SCAM SCAM SCAM a call center in India wants to verify your credit card numbers so they can give you a lower rate. Supposedly they will give you a confirmation number you will give to your bank. They knew the first four of my card, but asked me to verify the last 12. They asked me to "Verify" my expiration date. I held off and asked them to verify who they are. I didn't get a company name, I couldn't even get them to tell me MY name. They didn't know it. You'd think that would be the first thing. They knew light information anyone could find through a credit check, but not even that much. If this isn't a scam, i'm not sure what is. Oh sure, maybe it's real - but do you really think Bank of America, etc, would authorize this shoddy, shady, and disorganized of a service? They were a mess, yelling into the phone, talking fast, desperate to get the credit card numbers.
My cell phone received a call from (830) 393-3261, when I call this number back the number kepy busy.
I received a call from this number. A prerecorded message said they were calling about my credit card and that I had a limited amount of time to lower the interest rate. I pressed 1 when prompted to speak to a representative. A man with an accent picked up immediately. When I asked which credit card company was calling and said I don't have a credit card, he hung up.

This is DEFINITELY a scam I would say. They didn't know my name, had the first four of my cc number and was close to the balance. It was weird, they had some info but insisted on getting the "last four" of my credit card when they clearly had the first four. It was very shady scam from a call center in India. If it's not a scam, it's a very poorly executed service that freaked me out. They kept saying they are "not asking for my username and password" I'm like yeah, but you're asking for my credit card numbers when you're supposed to know them, and you don't even know my name?? Come on. What idiot is going to just give them their information like this? I didn't even get a company name and I asked them many times to verify who they are.
I just missed a call from this number on my cell phone. March 3, 2014.
I let it go to voicemail. The caller did not leave a message.
