Called and threatened to shoot us. I called back and they led me to a shady loan site: http://easycash.cu.cc/

Reporting them to local law enforcement so we can get a police report in order to block the call through Verizon.

BTW: I called them (number is from Texas) but sounds like an overseas company. However, every time we call back, we get the same guy. I'm going to call him everyday to give him a taste of his own medicine.

Payday loan SCAM. I called them back (from another number) and spoke to some guy with a foreign accent who said his name was David. He asked me how much I wanted to borrow. He asked me if I could go to a website and then we got disconnected. Of course I knew it was a scam but thought it would be fun to play along and waste their time.

I'm sorry I can't remember the "gentleman's" name. But these people called and called, finally I answered about a week ago. He stated that I was approved for a loan (which came as a relief as I am in serious need of money). So, in order to get the loan, I had to follow a series of instructions which took me to two credit score websites. He instructed me on what to click and where, etc. I asked him several times if this means I would be charged after the "trial" and he assured me that this was only for their purposes...no money needed. On both sites I had to put in my SS# etc. When we were finished, he informed me that my loan money would be in my account within 8 hours. This is day five with no deposit into my account and who knows what kinds of things they're doing with my information. On one of the sites I had to go to, it wouldn't take my credit card (there is a $1.00 fee on both sites), so I don't think they'll be a problem. But the other one (myscore.com) did go through and I called them as soon as I hung up with the "gentleman" to cancel my subscription and found out that I would have been charged just like these "Loan people" said I wouldn't be. I called them this morning to let them know I looked them up on here and I knew they were scam artists and I would be reporting them. When they answered the phone, they said Hello, then used my full name. I don't know what they're going to try to do with my information but now I'm not sure what to do. Anyway, if these people call and you answer...hang up!
