Lower my credit card interest rates

Pre-recorded message claimed to be from card-member services stating that there was not a problem with my account but that I may be eligible for lower interest rates. I stayed on the line to talk to a live operator and asked again to be removed from their call list. This is not the first time I received these calls, nor is it the first time I asked to be removed from list. Every time I ask to be removed or to speak to a supervisor, they usually hang up on me. When I call the number back I get a recording that says the members’ mailbox is full. This is about the tenth different number they’ve called me from, but the first I made note of.

You have only scratched the surface. Here is a list of spoofed numbers that you can add to your call blocking lists. These are the usual "lower your credit card interest rate" calls and I know that the list is accurate since every one of them has called me:

The automated message was a female's voice and was rather fast speaking, making it rather hard to write down everything that was stated in the message. Bits and pieces were:

"This is Rachael with cardholder services... there is no problem with your account... urgent that you contact ... eligible to lower interest rate to 6.9% ... press 1 to speak with ...

They call with a recording saying they can lower your interest rates through a new government program if you want more information press 1. Then you get a live person when you start asking any questions they will Hung up.
