lower interest rate on my credit cards, then they ask me for my credit card info. I tell them "well if i qualify for a special promotion, you should have my info." they say, "we don't have that info." I tell them to take me off the list and they just hang up on me.

Wants to lower the interest rate on my credit cards. I've received this call before and pressed "1" to talk to a representative but the representative does not know which of my credit cards the call is referring to. They want me to tell them what type of credit cards I have.

When I follow the prompts and talk to the live represnetative they represent themselves as authorized agents of my credit card company and are soliciting my credit information. When questioned about how they represent my creditors, they hang up. When asked for company name and phone number, they hang up.
