Credit Card with Lower Rates

Caller: "Bobby"
FCC Complaint

This was from an unidentified loan company, offering "lower interest rates" on outstanding debt. This was made from a cell phone, who refuses incoming calls when I tried to call them back to (again) request that calls no longer be made to this number. Since a cell phone was used, it is not possible to assess whether it was a repeat call, but we have received the exact message coming from other cell numbers, so it is likely that this is being used to get around our "do not call' registry through our phone provider.

We have been receiving similar calls for months - not sure if it's always the same number - a credit card co who wants to lower the interest on our debt payments (we have none) - this call was nasty - that we were sent a final letter and this is the last chance we can lower our debt interest rates. I have several times waited and pressed the key to be out thru to a rep - and ask why I am being called I am on the National Do Not Call list - an then they immediately hang up. If I try to call back using the Caller ID - you cannot reach anyone - this time it said the caller does not permit incoming calls. Previously when I tried to call the # back, it would just beep or do something else.

Something abt either a loan or service rate? Very hard to understand? They were extremely rude when I told them this is a private, unlisted #, a fax machine, no less, & they cursed @ me then hung up...then had the audacity to call several more times & cuss me out!
