I received a call from Kissimmee, FL: 407-530-0422 on 02/10/16 at 3:11 PM EST from "Scientific Survey Company." I was wary about the whole "free cruise" thing, yet I thought I'd be a "good citizen" and answer the questions. I wondered how long the survey would take--and how much time I've been suckered into wasting. Thankfully, were only three questions. Of course the questions were vague... Then, the automated voice said I'd receive a call within 24-48 hours to book my cruise. I wondered how long it'd really take for someone to call me back, or if someone would actually call me back at all. Sure enough, "John" with "Web Promotions" called me from Orlando, FL (407-630-5036) at 3:16 PM on 02/10/16 to talk with "the person who completed the survey." He wanted my name, and I said, "Let me do a little research on you before I give you any more information--only to find out that this is a scam." I went on to open my laptop computer (to perform research), and I told "John" that I was just curious if someone would actually call me back--and that I wanted to learn more about his company before I gave any information. He said, "Ma'am, what could I learn from your name? I'm sure a lot of people have the same name as you." I said, "Well, you can gather a lot by way of my name--and now that you have my cell phone number..." He said, "Let me put the info to you in writing. Give me your e-mail address, so I can send you the info about this promotion in black and white." I said that I'd still like to know more about who he's working for before I submit any information. With that, he said, "Well, you have a nice day," and then he disconnected the call.
