Said I had won a $9000. grant from the u.S. Government. No pay back and completely free to me. I had three options on how to receive the money. I was afraid it was a scam and kept asking questions. He gave me a grant ID number and a phone number of 240-237-3669 to call back.

Said they were from Washington DC, but caller ID said Texas. They kept asking for Jeff. We've asked them to stop calling us because we don't know who that is, and they keep calling.

had a phone call from this number have asked to be put on the do not call list several times. the guy keeps calling back telling me is he going to find me and f*** me in the A** cussed me out several times on the phone asked to speak to his boss and he said he is a dead guy who cant do sh** for me!!

Claimed to be the US Government Grants Department in Washington DC, NY - yes, apparently they moved Washington D.C. to New York. Too bad this is a Houston phone number. Reported to the gov't but doubt anything will be done.
