Called us today saying they will be here to serve papers on our son who doesn't even live here. He tried to call the number they gave but it was not a functioning number. Will call our local PD and ask if they are serving papers today. These people tried to scam him like this last year too.

got a call and said they need someone at home or tomorrow morning I will be arrested and the person on the other line told I hope they don't find you because if they do I say good luck to you and your family

They have called several times this week saying they are the civil division wanting to serve me papers on a legal matter against me. I have no legal matters or lawsuits pending and when I called the attorney general's office in my state, they told me it was a scam trying to convince me to pay money to stop a ficticious arrest from happening. They also told me I woud never receive a phone call if this were legit. Anyone who needs to be notified of this type of proceeding would be notified in writing.

They say they are serving legal papers on a debt but don't know my social security number or physical address.
