This is a transcript of the message I received which is a phishing attempt scam:
Hello calling from United States, Treasury Department. This is the final attempt to reach you Treasury Department has filed a lawsuit against you regarding tax deficiency in tax fraud ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid federal law for any further information immediately speak to federal agent callback number 843-401-5312. I repeat 843-401-5312, thank you.
The butchering of the English language alone was enough to tip me off.
