I called and asked for company name ("Loan Rate Modification") and location ("San Diego"). When I said that they were violating several laws by calling despite do-not-call and by faking the caller id; they hung up.

Calling from a faked number (000-000-0000 how original...) Would ANYONE willingly do business with a company that went through such trouble to HIDE from people?

Red flags everywhere that this is a SCAM. Heed them and RUN!

7 voice mail messages that were identical in 1.5 hours. the call was restricted. i called, requested to be removed immediately. I could not understand the "man" and had to ask him to repeat his statement several times. He yelled - whats wrong with you are you hard of hearing. He told me to FUCK OFF - and HUNG UP. Really?. I called back - same "man" I informed him to immediately remove my number from there list. Was told FUCK you again. Really.
My cell is on the national do not call list. What good is it to take the time to enlist if these people still call. What are my next steps

indian accent calling me from an 843 area code number (South Carolina) then tries to tell me he is in P.A.?? Wants to reduce my mortgage rate. I haven't had a mortgage since 2006. I dont think they have a rate for $0 mortgages - moron...
Just another in a LONG line of mortgage mod scammers. Called five times yesterday and twice today so far. Can we get a permit to kill off a few of these idiots??
