Lower credit card rates

card services - to lower my current interest rates on my credit card(s)...I do not have any credit cards! Ive was also asked if I wanted to unsubscribe to receiving this calls in which I answered yes and continue to receive them constantly for over 2 -3 months now. I even stayed on the line to speak with a rep to ask for the twentieth time to be removed and was rudely hung up on by the female customer service rep. I even tried to call them back and kept getting disconnected.

It offered to lower my interest rates.

When someone is actually on the phone they claim to be offering reduced interest rates from my creditors. They won't tell me which creditor until I verify my SSN and other personal info. Several weeks ago, a man with a slight foreign accent told me my credit card interest would increase immediately if I did not give him the info he wanted. When I refused to cooperate, he had a very threatening tone and said my interest rates were going to go up, and he hung up. I am almost 60 yrs old. These calls concern me: Are they targeting senior citizens?
