Guy called said that he was with the Dept of Investigations and said that there was a pending case for check fraud and if I did not take care of it they will serve me with papers for criminal charges. I'm like what? He said that Advance America has a claim against me. He had all my info including my SSN. I told him that this call sounded fraudulent because you won't get a call for criminal charges. He then said that I did not let him finish and then he told me I should shut-up! I told his a** he should shut up because I know he is committing fraud. He then proceeded to call me a whore and said that he would send people to my house....I have him a tongue lashing and told him that I was calling the cops! He proceeded to hang up on me. If you get a call from this number it is SCAM!
