Scam call

scam, trying to collect fictitious debt

Calls repeatedly, hangs up and immediately redials 3 or 4 times, multiple times a day

These people call every day assuming my name when I say, "hello." I say, "Hello?"

Caller: "Yes, Davon"

Me: "Why are you assuming that I am a particular person? You already sound scripted. What do you want?"

Caller: "We need to make sure we are talking to Davon."

Me: "There is a "we" on the phone? Who are the other people?"

Caller: "Is this Davon?"

Me: "That is none of your business. I don't know who you are or why you keep calling this number."

Caller: "We can tell you important business information when you confirm that you are Davon."

Me: "I don't give out personal information. Tell me the information or I'm hanging up.

Caller: "Have a great day sir."

I am sure they will call back again tomorrow on the same b.s. as usual. This should be a crime...
