Call received from (844)250-8574 man had thick indian accent, he told me he was calling from Xfinity(Comcast) and that they were calling because my modem was running slow and could affect service not only to me but to my surrounding area. I was in the car at the time and asked him how he got my cell phone #. He told me it was the number attached to the account. He knew my name, I asked him if he could verify for me the location of said modem and he new my address and spouted off an account number that I could not say was true or not. I asked him to call me back on the land line after 7pm. Never heard back now they are calling and leaving voicemail saying there is an open service order on my account please call us back at (844)250-8578.

I got two calls yesterday with the same threats as the others have had, Some guy with a thick middle east accent said that he was a CRA officer. I asked him if he spoke English and told him to F-off

Message indicates that there is a criminal case pending and if I don't call back .... well then it's my fault if I get arrested :-) Scam call, what a pain.

I received a call from 1-780-358-0800. I do not answer calls from unknown parties so let it go to answering machine. The recorded message was cut off because their recording began before the beep, but essentially I or my attorney would need to call 1-844-250-8574 or face criminal charges. At the end of the recorded message they repeated a number but this one was different from the two above, this one was 1-844-316-5264. Don't fall for their scare tactics. Scammers are scum.

Scam call from the "CRA messaging service". And if I didn't phone them back they would register a case against me and/or call the police and have me arrested. 1) The CRA does not have a messaging service. 2) The CRA will never phone you out of the blue and say you owe us money. 3) The CRA will not threaten to register a case against you or phone the police and have you arrested.

Called the number. talked to "Jordan Marsh" who didn't ask for my name, but my phone number.
